Registration and Fees

Registration will be open through July 6th, 2012.  No registrations will be accepted after this date.  Information and details are below.

Participant conference registration fee includes:

- Access to all conference sessions

- Opening reception on Sunday (July 15)

- Banquet on Tuesday (July 17)

- All meals on Monday and Tuesday (July 16-17)

- Breakfast and lunch on Wednesday and Thursday (July 18-19)

- Refreshments at coffee/tea breaks

- Local campus and hotel transportation

- Conference proceedings

Accompanying Person registration fee includes the opening reception on Sunday (July 15), banquet on Tuesday (July 17), and the closing ceremony on Thursday (July 19).  

*Eligibility of graduate student or early career scientist status is required at time of registration by uploading to the registration web site.

Graduate student registration requires a photocopy of a current student photo identification card, or a letter from your academic department administrator. 

Early career scientists must have earned their doctorate since January 1, 2007, as evidenced by a copy of suitable documentation. 

Abstract publication is contingent on payment of registration fee by April 27, 2012.

Abstract procedures are described on the Abstract Submission page. The non-refundable abstract submission fee is $40 US.

Field trip details will be described on the Field Trips page. Estimated field trip costs are $50 US plus the cost of dinner on Wednesday (July 18) en route at local venues.  Field trip participation is optional. Registrants will be contacted when field trip sign-up is available.

Please make your own accommodations when registering.  Space is limited at the conference venue, with ample hotels nearby. 

If you are interested in sharing the cost of chartered bus transportation to/from the conference site and Boston, Massachusetts (BOS) or Portland, Maine (PWM) airports, please indicate at the on-line registration site.

Refund and cancellation policies
Refund of registration fees will be made if written notification of cancellation is sent to the organizing committee ( as follows:

- Cancellation received by June 1, 2012 - full refund minus a handling cost of $50 US

- Cancellation received after June 1, 2012 - no refund will be made

- Cancellation with medical certificate - full refund minus $50 US
